In this article I will review the relationship between international and local law in Argentina in relation to women's rights. The period runs between the beginning of the 20th century, when suffragism emerged in Argentina, and 1949 when the Extraordinary Assembly of the Inter-American Commission of Women held in Buenos Aires. It is proposed to review the relations of synchrony and untimely between the international, national regulations of Argentina and the role of the local and international suffrage movement.
