The paper analyzes the representations of the Peronist Resistance (1955-1960) produced by Montoneros guerrilla organization in the first years of its existence (1970-1973). It highlights the mythological key in the memory of the main milestones of historical experience, and their reception and resignification by the Montoneros. It describes ways in which this organization represented the history of the Peronist Resistance in the first years of its existence and it is analyzed in the light of political contexts. It is suggested that these representations be viewed within frames of meaning characterized by the glorification of political struggles, linked to the avant-garde inclinations of this organization and their choice of armed struggle.
