Abstract

PEROTTI, Alejandro Daniel. ONSOME QUESTIONS LINKED TO THE ADVISORYOPINION OF THE PARLIAMENT OF MERCOSUR REGARDING THE PAYMENT OF THE DIETS OF ELECTED PARLIAMENTARIANS. Rev. Fac. [online]. 2018, vol.9, n.2, pp.1-12. ISSN 1850-9371.

the present work refers to the controversy originated around the payment of the diets and beneñts corresponding to the ñrst Argentine parliamentarians before the PARLASUR, who, from December 2015 until the date of the presentation of the article, have not received any type of emolument, salary, remuneration or equivalent for their functions, as well as no social security beneñt or pension contribution, receiving only the payment of aerial ticket price and per diem on the occasion of the meetings to which they must attend. This generated legal actions in the domestic sphere and in the MERCOSUR. Several Argentine parliamentarians present a draft provision (MEP / 551/2017) in the PARLASUR on the occasion of its LlIth ordinary session (11/12/17) -which is included as an annex to this work- by which the regional legislature submits an advisory opinion to the Permanent Revision Court (TPR), so that the said court may clarify the meaning and scope of Mercosur law related to the issue of payment of the diets.
