This article addresses the career of Elena Acquarone, argentinian architect and artist, as well as the construction of her design identity, characterized by an experimental approach. Her contributions, as others made by professional women, have not been studied and appreciated enough to the date. This text inquires in her beginnings, influences and thoughts. First of all, it tells about her trajectory, focused on the construction of ideas, followed by other stage of experimental and professional strengthening, and a third one of expansion and deepening of her approach. In these three periods, it analyzes also the relationships among her architectural, artistic and industrial design production.
