Abstract

This article addresses the struggles of the student movement of the National University of Rosario, between the coup d'etats of 1966 and 1976. It aims to accurately portray the evolution of the forms of action, the protagonists of the groups involved and the alliances woven by the Rosario student movement, in order to finally trace and explain the cycles of conflict. Departing from an important database built primarily with newspapers of the period, we operationalize the concept of social confrontation, to achieve some conclusions and review ideas about students of Rosario and their activism. With this case analysis, we aim to advance in a broader characterization of the Argentine student movement in that period.
