The covid-19 pandemic, apart from showing the global spread of the virus, our own vulnerability and the interdependence that we have between all of us, has shown that inequality between regions remains evident. While in the last months of 2020 the countries with the highest income acquired more than 50% of vaccine doses, throughout 2021, 2022 and 2023 access to them has been uneven. On this problem of no access to medicines, the «pharmaceutical exclusion», this paper aims to justify it as an object of study of a critical global criminology. A current proposal in the discipline that extends the perspective beyond criminal law and cares about structural violence and social harm in a transnational ambit and gives importance to the memory of the past and the present. In this direction, the elements of this epistemological current will be described together with an approximation to the economic, political, cultural and legal powers that produce and reproduce this exclusion.
