The article discuss with those arguments that consider that, despite the intense development of collective bargaining occurred in Argentina between 2003-2014, it did not take place a significant renegotiation of sectoral Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA) established between 1991-2002, a period characterized by labor flexibility. Methodologically, we analyzed the sectoral CBA signed between 1975 and 2014. This sample covers the 95% of formal workers in the non-agricultural private sector. The results arising from research indicate that currently the 64% of the sectoral CBA negotiated between 1991 and 2002 are inactive. Therefore, it is shown that much of the sectoral CBA established in the early 90’s did not have continuity in their application, proving questionable the results of other studies on the same subject.
