This paper aims to expose the dynamics of conflicts involving the IT workers of Argentina in the period 2009-2015, particularly in the urban area of Buenos Aires and Rosario. The beginning of union organization in the IT sector starts in 2009 leaded by IBM employees. This process concluded in the founding of Union Informática in 2011, extending their presence in more than 35 companies, bringing shopflor stewards and carrying out various union activities. This union obtained its registration in 2013, which allowed them to advance their social union practices, with new challenges for their future. The questions under this paper are: What are the differences in the conflicts and the dynamics of the protest of the IT workers from their beginnings, with respect to those that they carry out after the union was founded? What is the change in the Power relations between workers and employers in the period analyzed? What are the changes in the union action of Unión Informática after obtaining their registration? In order to answer these questions, quantitative indicators will be taken into account: number of conflicts and strikes, affiliations and media repercussions; as also qualitative indicators, such as the characteristics of the strikes, the forms assumed by the protest, the different responses of the companies, electoral processes.
