RESÚMENES DE INVESTIGACIÓN

The study of motivation, self-perception and self-efficacy among students and its relation with work and study project construction. A contribution from Psychology of Guidance.

Since its beginning, vocational guidance consisted in assessing theability of subjects that better fit the occupational requirements of laboural market. At present, Psychology of Guidance focuses in study and work trajectories and its relationship with the complexity and permanent transformation of our world today. From this perspective, issues concerning human transitions through life are being studied (Guichard & Huteau, 2001). This study is based in the transition from high school to work and superior studies in high school students.  The objective is to study the relationship among motivation, self-perception and self-efficacy in the work and study project construction among students attending last year at public high schools. An intentional sample will be selected with a voluntary participation of 400 students from public high schools of school districts in CABA. With a mixed method, both quantitative and qualitative methodology will be used, allowing a better understanding and a deeper and wider knowledge of the object under study.
