Ciencia del Suelo (ISSNe: 1850-2067) is the scientific journal of the Asociación Argentina de la Ciencia del Suelo. It is an international journal that publishes original scientific articles in the areas of soil, environmental and plant nutrition sciences. 

It promotes, in a special, although not exclusive way, research that leads to greater knowledge of the soils of Argentina and countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. Its objective is to offer review by qualified peers and to quickly publish articles sent by our researchers from the country and abroad to stimulate the development of all knowledge that pertains to soil science in general and in relation to the environment.

It is aimed mainly at researchers, teachers, students, professionals and entities from public and private spheres at a national and international level, linked to the various scientific, technological and technical areas and disciplines that involve knowledge and management of the topics considered by the journal.

Ciencia del Suelo considers manuscripts related to: chemistry, physics and soil biology; land and water management and conservation; genesis, classification, mineralogy and taxonomy of soils; soil fertility and plant nutrition; soil and environmental contamination; soil science education.

Frequency: It has been published continuously since June 1983 and is published every six months. Each annual volume contains two issues, which are published at the end of June (No. 1) and at the end of December (No. 2).

Open access policy

Ciencia del Suelo is published in digital format with free access to its content, under the principle of making research freely available to the public, which encourages greater exchange of global knowledge.

The journal adheres to the open access principles set out in the Berlin, Bethesda and Budapest declarations. In this sense, you accept that the articles presented be distributed freely as long as international standards of bibliographic referencing and citation are complied with, and that the rights of the authors are protected under the criteria established by the licenses. Creative Commons [CC – BY -NC – SA] and credit for the original creation is given to the author

Generally speaking, this type of license allows authors and readers to:
