CICLOS en la historia, la economía y la sociedad, published without disruptions since 1991, welcomes academic research of argentine and foreign authors from different social sciences, with reference to contemporary issues and historical perspective.
Historical and current problems of Argentina and global reality are discussed in its pages, trying to stimulate wider debate of ideas, being open to all the intellectuals and academic people, with the only selective criteria of theme relevance and analytic rigor.
Each issue includes articles into thematic sections and usually also includes Latin American and / or regional and international studies, short communications, ideas and debates, essays and book reviews.
CICLOS comes to universities and research centers in Argentina, Europe, USA, Asia and Latin America, and has over 130 exchange academic publications worldwide.
Ciclos integrates the Core of Journals of CAICYT, comprising all the scientific and technological journals published in Argentina having greater editorial, which include evaluation mechanisms in line with international standards, with a wide circulation and recognition of the scientific community in their area.
Frequency: biannual or annual double issue.
Ciclos maintains a commitment to the policies of Open Access to scientific information, as it considers that both scientific publications as well as research investigations funded by public resources should circulate freely without restrictions.
