CUADERNO URBANO is a scientific publication with international arbitration aimed at the dissemination of articles and essays that deal with the urban issue - in the broadest sense of the term - from the scientific disciplines, combining empirical, theoretical and essayistic works that give an account of problems local, regional and universal. The intention of the publication is to favor and promote the generation of essays and articles by young researchers collaborating in the editorial production of their ideas, as well as to disseminate the contribution of scientists already established in their disciplinary specialty.

It is a semiannual publication, which appears in the months of June and December. The reception of collaborations is carried out continuously, and the selection of articles is carried out through the peer review system, in a double-blind mode. The magazine's indexing guarantees its editorial rigor and academic prestige.

Open access policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that offering the public free access to research contributes to greater global exchange of knowledge.

The journal is published under a Creative Commons license, Non-Commercial Attribution type. As it is an open access journal, the reproduction, copy, reading or printing of the works has no cost nor does it require a prior identification process. Publication by third parties will be authorized by Cuaderno Urbano as long as it is duly and explicitly recognized as the place of publication of the original.

Cuaderno Urbano without exception requests from authors a declaration of originality for their works, thus expecting their adherence to basic standards of intellectual work ethics. The authors assign to Cuaderno Urbano the publicity rights of their works, whenever they have been admitted as part of any of its issues; However, they retain intellectual property rights and ethical responsibility, as well as the possibility of self-dissemination through the media they consider.
