Información, Cultura y Sociedad publishes original and unpublished works referred to the production, record, preservation, circulation, dissemination, and use of information. The aim of the publication is to offer a place of confluence for Library/ Information Science professionals together with all other subjects concerned by that question in order to generate an interdisciplinary discussion and exchange forum. Although the journal basically aspires to be a dissemination channel for Ibero American researches, it is open to the international community.

Frequency: six-monthly (2 issues/year).

Its abbreviated title is Inf. Cult. Soc. (en línea) and it should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, references and bibliographic strips.
