About this journal

 

Basic Information

 

The Revista de Historia Americana y Argentina  of the Institute of the same name of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the National University of Cuyo. Its objective is to publish original and unpublished articles, notes and debates on a specific topic (dossier), research products. Papers are subject to double blind arbitration. Bibliographic reviews are also included.

The publication is aimed at researchers and teachers specialized in the humanities, in American and Argentine history and in patrimonial issues; in a complementary way, to cultural managers and the general public.

It has an Advisory Committee made up of national and international specialists. Its theme covers problems of Ibero-American, American and Argentine political, social, economic and cultural history.

Post frequency: continuous

The Revista de Historia Americana y Argentina until the end of 2023 was published semiannually, in the months of June and December.

Since 2024, it has been publishing in a continuous format and closes a volume each end of the calendar year. It publishes two issues within each volume that cover the periods January-June and July-December. The call for presentation is between February 15 and October 30.

The Revista de Historia Americana y Argentina provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that offering the public free access to research helps a greater global exchange of knowledge. In this regard, the magazine adheres to:
