Revista Latinoamericana de Filosofía is an open access and blind peer-review publication that receives contributions in any area of philosophy. Open to all philosophical currents, ideas and trends, the journal aspires to the collaboration of all scholars who wish to present the results of their research to their colleagues and the public.

In its more than forty years of life, the RLF has proposed to offer a space for the publication and dissemination of work in philosophy that is carried out not only in Argentina, but also in Latin America and the rest of the world, thus addressing members of the national and international philosophical community. Its main objective is to promote dialogue and exchange of productions in the field of philosophical research, whether they refer to current affairs or to the history of the discipline. The RLF welcomes works of all orientations if they are original, represent advances in the knowledge of the topics addressed and enrich the philosophical debate.

The RLF publishes articles, notes, critical studies, and discussions. It also includes a permanent section of reviews and, occasionally, thematic dossiers are designed that do not interrupt the periodicity of the publication.

The RLF is published twice a year, in May and November.

The Latin American Journal of Philosophy offers open and immediate access, operating under the principle that free access to scientific research results fosters global knowledge interchange.

The journal is freely available on the internet; thus, the user is enabled to read, download, copy, print, distribute or give any other legal use to it, without financial, technical or any type of barrier.

Copyright and Licensing

The Chief Director responsible for RLF is the President of the Centro de Investigaciones Filosóficas (CIF), who in turn, is the legal owner of the publication.

The authors whose work has been published in this journal comply with the following terms:

1. The acceptance of the article on the part of the journal implies both, the non-simultaneous presentation of the work to other journals or editorial entities, and the non-exclusive transference of property rights of the authors to the journal. Authors shall maintain their royalties and shall grant the journal the right to the First Publishing of their work. This right is simultaneously subject to the Creative Commons BY 4.0 License, which full text is found at https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/, therefore, the complete work can be shared to third parties as long as the autors and the First Publishing in this journal are referenced accordingly.

2. Authors may adopt other non-exclusive distribution license agreements for the published version of the work (such as uploading it on an institutional digital file or publishing it on an essay volume) provided that the First Publishing in this journal is referenced accordingly.

3. Authors' spreading of their own work on the internet (such as on institutional digital files or on their own webpage) before and during the sending process is not only accepted but highly recommended.
