La trama de la comunicación

Resumen

This article describes how the political debate is developed in the convergence culture, investigating which features have the user sthatlive in the networks, which mechanisms do they use to disseminate their ideas and how do the new texts work. The paper wonders in which way do new media contributes to a bigger and better citizen ship. For this purpose, the social and cultural changes that crossthefield of communication in recent years are described, taking into account issues such as thesetablishment of thein formation society, ther is e of media convergence, the decline of broadcasting model and the conversion of thehearingsintousers. At the same time, the article analyses central aspects of how online participation communities are formed, which characteristics do the users that support them possess, what objectives do they pursue and what are the advantages and disadvantages of this kind of politics. Finally, them ediations established between user communities and them a instream media coverage are reviewed, in order to explore there definition of the latter from the transformation of the former.
