In September 1947, by means of an act passed by Congress, the three power branches were intervened in the Province of Corrientes, ending a process initiated a year before when the Radical Party had won the elections proclaimed by the Electoral College. This work means to reconstruct the political map of Corrientes during that short period, and identifies the arguments of each of the political sectors involved. At issue is the role played by each of these political sectors, the interaction between the party organizations in power and in the opposition, and their impact on the federal political context, marked by the predominance of Peronism.
